The Toyota Prius was the case study for the Spring 2010 account planning students at Texas State University. The semester long project included secondary, survey and qualitative research (interviews). Students used the results of their research to craft their advertising strategy for the Toyota Prius. Writing a creative brief was especially challenging given Toyota's current recall troubles.
The case study was a group project. Students were divided into nine groups. At the end of the semester, each group presented a "creative briefing" with the goal of inspiring creative teams. Below are pictures from the final presentations.
